Started with people,
not products.
Second Paw didn't begin as a business idea. It began with a pattern that was impossible to ignore.
Through dog-sitting and the early days of Pawsitive Pawadise, dogs would arrive without food. In cold Toronto winters, they'd come without jackets or boots — not because their families didn't care, but because the costs added up and hard choices had to be made.
The response was instinctive: reach into Junior's closet and share what we had. It wasn't a program. It was just the right thing to do. And those moments planted a seed.
At the same time, it was impossible not to notice how much perfectly good pet gear ended up discarded — quality items with years of life left, headed to landfills simply because someone no longer needed them.
