ABOUT
How one dog named Junior changed everything.

I’m Theresa, and like most great things in life, Pawsitive Pawadise started because of a dog. My boy Junior taught me something that no certification ever could: where a dog spends their time matters just as much as how they’re treated while they’re there.
Environment shapes everything. Confidence, health, happiness, and the way a dog carries themselves through the world. I saw it with Junior, and I saw it again and again with every dog that came after him.
But I also understand it from the other side.
As a dog parent myself, I know what it feels like to hand your dog over to someone else and hope for the best. To spend the day wondering how they’re doing. To wait for updates. To receive a photo that shows a moment, but not the whole story. Because what pet parents really want isn’t just pictures. It’s peace of mind. That’s why communication has always been one of the most important parts of Pawsitive Pawadise. I send updates because I know what it’s like to wait for one. I share videos because body language tells a story photos sometimes can’t. I pay attention to the little things because they’re exactly the things I’d want to know about Junior.
The standard I hold for every dog is simple:
I care for them the way I would want someone to care for my own.
In 2022, in the heart of Midtown Toronto, Pawsitive Pawadise opened its doors as a relationship-first community built around trust, consistency, and meaningful connections. Today, that community extends beyond daycare through Pawadise Moments, our photography and event experiences, and Second Paw, our pet thrift initiative helping families give gently loved items a second life.
At its heart, the mission has never changed:
A place where dogs are known, not managed.
A place where pet parents feel informed, included, and confident.
A place where every dog is treated like family.
